Pakistani actors and actresses are obsessed with Dirilis: Ertugrul’s characters.

As soon as the Turkish historical series Diriliş: Ertuğrul started airing in Pakistan, it won the hearts of countless Pakistanis. The fans of the series even included big names from the Pakistani showbiz industry; from Hira Mani to Sania Mirza – everyone seems to be in love with the series and its characters.

The latest addition to the fan following of Diriliş: Ertuğrul is the popular morning show host Nida Yasir. The talk show host seems to have taken the Ottoman series obsession a little further by dressing up like one of the season’s lead characters Halime Sultan.

Recently, Nida Yasir was spotted wearing a blue-toned traditional attire with the trademark headgear very similar to Halima Sultan’s dressing. The talk show host’s outfit clearly indicates her love for the Turkish show.

Nida Yasir’s outfit was not a complete copy of Halime Sultan’s attire but an adaptation of it. The morning show host wore a flowy blue tribal-printed dress complemented by a rust dupatta that featured a boho pattern on the hem.

Here are some pictures of Nida Yasir in the blue dress:

It should be noted that Nida Yasir is not the first Pakistani celebrity to recreate the look of her favorite Turkish actor. Previously, Hira Mani went viral on social media for recreating the look of Turkish actress Esra Bilgic. The Pakistani actress donned a traditional blue gown and Turkish headgear.

In another instance, Hira Mani is also seen wearing Esra Bilgic’s famous black velour gown from the series Diriliş: Ertuğrul.
