BIEK Issues Notification For Implementation Of Condensed Syllabus For HSSC Exam




Karachi board of intermediate education has issued the notification for the implementation of a condensed syllabus for HSSC. Earlier it had been announced that this year the annual exams of matric and intermediate will be conducted according to the smart syllabus. In this regard, the concerned authorities had provided the syllabus to the students so that they can prepare it before the commencement of the annual exam. The Punjab government has also issued the smart syllabus for all Punjab boards and the candidates are required to prepare the issued syllabus. The decision regarding the issuance of the condensed syllabus had been taken due to the prolonged closures of the educational institutes because of the spread of the coronavirus pandemic. So by keeping in mind the ongoing situation, the syllabus has been reduced so that the candidates can complete it in less time. 

Sindh Education Council

The notification has been issued by the Sindh education council and approved by the minister for education and literacy department, the government of Sindh. So according to the directives issued BIEK will hold the annual exams of HSSC part-I and HSSC part-II according to the formation of distribution of numbers as per the decision of the steering committee such as 50% MCQs, 30% short questions, and 20% long questions. 

Issuance Of Model Papers

Karachi board of intermediate education has ensured the candidates that the annual exam of HSSC will be commenced according to the condensed syllabus and no question will be asked out of the syllabus in the exam. To facilitate the preparation phase of the exam the board has issued the model papers that allow the students to get the idea of types of the questions asked in the syllabus.
