The Islamabad Excise and Taxation Department has introduced a new QR code to check / verify the status of their vehicle’s smart card.

Taking to Twitter, Director Excise and Taxation Department, Bilal Azam, said that citizens can now check status of the smart card of their vehicles through a QR code.

Status check of smart card of your vehicle for collection has been made easy. Two steps required:
1. Scan this QR Code
2. Enter your vehicle details

You can scan the provided QR code above for Islamabad Vehicle Verification or to check status of vehicle smart card through City Islamabad App by providing the vehicle’s registration details.

Furthermore, you can also download the City Islamabad App directly from the Play Store and vail several other services including the verification of the following:

• Domicile
• Arms License
• Token Tax Information
• International Driving Permit
• Vehicle Registration Details
• Other Services
