KIA Increases Car Prices in Pakistan [January 2022]
Lucky Motors Corporation (LMC) has notified of a massive increase in KIA Car Prices following the imposition of increased Federal Excise Duty (FED) by the Federal Government in the mini-budget. According to the notification, the Price of KIA Sportage, KIA Picanto, and KIA Carnival in Pakistan has seen a massive increase with the increased in FED and Sales Tax by the Government.
KIA Picanto Price in Pakistan had already crossed the Rs. 2 million mark with the last increase and took the vehicle out of reach for many middle class customers. The vehicle was once a great option in the 1000cc hatchback but considering the competitive nature of the market, there are many other vehicles available in the new price range.

Lucky Motors Corporation (LMC) has also increased the KIA Sportage Price in Pakistan by up to Rs. 138,000 because of the increased Sales Tax and Federal Excise Duty (FED). The following are the detailed prices of the KIA Sportage variants in Pakistan.

Kia Stonic was introduced in Pakistan as the cheapest crossover SUV by the company in its vehicle lineup. However, the Price of the Kia Stonic has increased significantly with the new Federal Excise Duty (FED). It bears mentioning that the company isn’t to blame for the current hike in Prices as these are the result of increased taxes being imposed by the incumbent government.

It is pertinent to mention that the Lucky Motors has not notified of an increase in the Price of KIA Sorento and KIA Carnival in its notification.
The new Prices of KIA Cars are applicable and effective from 16 January 2022 and any other Government tax applicable at the time of delivery will be borne by the customers.
