The trend of screening dramas across cinemas is gradually picking up pace in Pakistan. We saw the last episode of Mere Paas Tum Ho screened in cinemas and then the first episode of Sang-e-Mah followed the similar trend.
The makers of Parizaad also decided to make some extra money by releasing the much-anticipated last episode in cinemas. The serial was the most hit drama of last year and it was loved in India as well.

Ahmed Ali Akbar played the role of Parizaad to the best of his ability. According to reports, the much loved drama opened to good numbers at the box-office. The last episode of Parizaad earned 50 lacs PKR on Friday.
The number seems less than you might have expected but the box office numbers of local films post pandemic aren’t much impressive either.
Parizaad easily beat the first episode numbers of Sang-e-Mah at the box office. However, it couldn’t earn half as much as the blockbuster “Mery Pass Tum Ho” which opened to 2.5 crores PKR.
