Painter Accuses Mahira Khan, Umera Ahmed of Ruining Her Artwork




Mahira Khan and Kubra Khan on the poster of Hum Kahan Kay Sachay TheinPakistani TV channels has a long history of exploiting young talented artists. In such an instance, a very young and talented painter – Syeda Kazmi – has accused Mahira Khan and Umera Ahmed of ‘ruining’ her artowk.

Syeda Kazmi took to her social media and shared how one of her paintings, which featured in Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay, was ruined without her permission. She said that she let Umera Ahmed use her paintings in her drama without charging  money.

Furthermore, Syeda added that not even the director of Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay, Rind Farooq, made sure her painting was kept safe.

“Ruining my painting without my permission is something unethical and I can claim over this because I own them. I don’t need any sort of money but please respect my art .One more thing, I’m still a struggling artist not a well known, so my art matters alot to me,” Syeda Kazmi concluded.

Not the first time:

This isn’t the first time that an artist has called out Hum TV or the cast of the drama getting aired on the channel. Before this, stylist Naiha Rahim shared her experience of working for actress Sukynah Khan for her drama on Hum TV.

Naiha Rahim accused the actress of neither fully paying her for the services nor giving her the credit.
