Monal restaurant to be closed soon, said by federal minister for climate change Zartaj Gul.
During an interview the Minister for Climate Change Zartaj Gul has declared openly that Monal Restaurant, which has an iconic landmark location in the heart of Islamabad’s Margalla Hills National Park, has violated environmental and construction laws, the laws simply do not allow construction and business activities in national parks.
She said that this is the reason why the federal government has decided to take action against it and it will take action to close down the restaurant and restore the environment.
It is to be remembered that previously, government has taken the action already on the illegal location of monal but the owners and government had a settlement over it and it continued to survive now let’s see what happens between government and the restaurant owners.
