Chinese Ambassador visits CPEC Authority, meets Chairman Asim Saleem Bajwa
ISLAMABAD: Chairman China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Authority Asim Saleem Bajwa called on the Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan.
In a message shared on social networking site Twitter, Asim Saleem Bajwa said that during the meeting, the Chinese Ambassador thanked Pakistan for expediting work on CPEC.

He wrote that the Chinese Ambassador also thanked the Government of Pakistan for paying special attention to CPEC.
During the meeting, the Chinese Ambassador said that the people of both the countries would benefit from CPEC.
Asim Saleem Bajwa wrote in the message that the Chinese Ambassador paid tribute to the Government of Pakistan for speeding up the CPEC projects.
He said in a tweet that the Chinese ambassador also reiterated his commitment to bring the people of the two countries closer.
On the other hand, Chinese President Xi Jinping has described CPEC as an important BRI project.
According to the News, Chinese President Xi Jinping has expressed gratitude for the successful dialogue between Pakistan and Chinese political parties on CPEC.
Chinese President Xi Jinping has said that CPEC is an example of fraternal relations between Pakistan and China. He said that construction and development between the two countries has paved the way for a common future.
