EOBI pensioners will get Remaining amount of previous months in August

Pension increase: EOBI announces to pay 3 months remaining amount of pensioners in August Employees Old Age Benefit Institution (EOBI) announces to pay Rs 2.4 billion in dues after the pension increase. The pension was increased in the start of 2020 but previously it was deducted by government due to low funds but now EOBI has announced to pay remaining pensions in August 2020.

EOBI Chairman Azhar Hameed said that the arrears of 3 months ie April, May and June would be paid to the registered pensioners of EOBI in August next month.

It should be noted that the government had approved an increase of Rs 2,000 in the pension of EOBI pensioners and registered pensioners will now get a pension of Rs 8,500.
