Five civilians were injured in unprovoked firing on the Line of Control (LoC) of the Indian Army.

According to Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), the Indian Army once again violated the ceasefire agreement by firing indiscriminately on the Nikail sector of the LoC.

According to ISPR, the Indian Army targeted the population at the LOC last night, injuring five civilians, including two children and two elderly women.

A Pakistan Army spokesman said that the Pakistan Army has also responded effectively to the firing of the Indian Army.

ISPR tweeted

“5 Civilians including 2 innocent boys and 2 elderly women got injured, due to Indian Army troops unprovoked ceasefire violation in Nikial Sector along #LOC, targeting civil population late last night. Pakistan Army troops responded effectively to Indian firing.”
