CDA halts construction of Hindu temple in Islamabad.

A CDA spokesman told that the CDA had stopped work on the temple because the temple was being built without a map.

According to the CDA spokesperson, according to the Islamabad master plan, the building cannot be constructed without the approval of the map.

According to the spokesperson, the concerned persons have been asked to approve the map of the temple.

As per news circulated on Social Media the Government’s land and funds have been allocated for the construction of the temple.

In addition, the Ministry of Religious Affairs has made it clear that it assists religious minorities in repairing and renovating existing places of worship, not building new ones.

Mufti Taqi Usmani and Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman have also opposed the construction of the temple at government expense
