Athar Shah Khan AKA Jedi passed away

Athar Shah Khan, a well-known poet, playwright, filmmaker and television personality who has gained fame due to his best writngs and dramas , passed away .

Actor Athar Shah Khan Jedi was suffering from diabetes and kidney disease for a long time and he passed away today.

The late Athar Shah Khan is survived by his wife and four sons.

The late Athar Shah Khan was born in Rampur, India and was over 77 years old at the time of his death. He moved with his family to Lahore in 1947 and
And later in Karachi in 1957.

After getting his primary education from Lahore, Athar Shah Khan Jedi studied from Peshawar to secondary and then graduated from Urdu Science College in Karachi. Later, he did his Masters in Journalism from Punjab University.

Athar Shah Khan got fame from Haey Jaidi.He is considered one of the earliest television playwrights and artists.

Intizar farmaeay was Athar Shah Khan’s superhit drama series, Hello Hello , Burger Family, Ashiana, Aap Janab, Jedi in Trouble, Problem House, Haey Jedi were his famous dramas .

Intizar farmaey was the serial that made Athar Shah Khan ‘Jedi’ famous and took him to the heights of fame.

In 2001, he was awarded the Pride of Performance Award by the Government of Pakistan and when Pakistan Television celebrated its Silver Jubilee, Athar Shah Khan Jedi was awarded the Gold Medal.
