A 14-year-old Pakistani student has won the National History Day competition
Shoaib Jamil, a 14-year-old Pakistani student, raised the nation’s head with pride by winning a world competition.
Shoaib Jamil from Daska has won the first position in the National Competition of ‘National History Day 2020’ held in the United States.
The competition was held in Washington on June 30 and was attended by American and foreign students.
This year, the theme of the competition was ‘Overcoming Obstacles to History’. In 2019, Shoaib was selected in this competition while Shoaib’s group was formed with 3 selected foreign students.
Shoaib, with the help of three colleagues, wrote an article on the subject for which he was awarded the first prize.
It should be noted that this competition called ‘Rainbow Children of God’ is held every year in the United States. This year, due to Corona, articles were invited from selected students instead of the project.
After winning the first prize in the competition, Shoaib said that he was very happy with the significant achievement and named his success after his country.
