Hyundai Car Prices in Pakistan With Increased GST
In the wave of price hikes in the automotive industry following the increase in General Sales Tax (GST), Hyundai Nishat Motors Private Limited (HNMPL) has announced a hike in all Hyundai car prices in Pakistan by up to 100,000 to account for the additional 1% GST.
It is pertinent to mention that the Federal Government has raised the General Sales Tax from 17% to 18% in order to fix the budget deficit and meet the demands set by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to resume to loan programme.
According to the details, Hyundai Pakistan has raised car prices by up to Rs. 100,000, which now brings the company’s cheapest vehicle to Rs. 5.75 million since the company doesn’t deal with entry-level hatch-backs in the local automotive industry.
Hyundai Tucson Price in Pakistan
The price of Hyundai Tucson GLS Sport (FWD) in Pakistan is now Rs. 7,464,000 after a hike of Rs. 65,000 from the old rate of Rs. 7,399,000, while the price of the higher-end Hyundai Tucson Ultimate (AWD) is now Rs. 7,969,000 from the old rate of Rs. 7,899,000 with an increase of Rs. 70,000.

The company has raised the price of Hyundai Elantra GL 1.6 in Pakistan to Rs. 5,749,000 from the old rate of Rs. 5,699,000 with an increase of Rs. 50,000, while the price of Hyundai Elantra GLS 2.0 has been raised to Rs. 6,154,000 after an increase of Rs. 400,000 from the old rate of Rs. 6,099,000.

Meanwhile, the price of Hyundai Sonata 2.0 in Pakistan is now Rs. 8,724,000 from the old rate of Rs. 8,649,000 after an addition of Rs. 75,000 GST, while the new price of Hyundai Sonata 2.5 is now Rs. 9,484,000 after an increase of Rs. 85,000 from the old rate of Rs. 9,399,000.

Hyundai Staria Price in Pakistan
The price of Hyundai Staria 3.5 A/T in Pakistan is now Rs. 8,364,000, the Staria 2.20 M/T will cost Rs. 8,499,000 after a hike of Rs. 75,000 from the old rates of Rs. 8,289,000 and Rs. 8,424,000, respectively.
Meanwhile, the price of Hyundai Staria 2.20 A/T is now Rs. 8,909,000 from the old rate of Rs. 8,829,000 after an increase of Rs. 80,000 to account for the extra 1% GST, while the price of Hyundai Staria HGS is now Rs. 11,009,000 following a hike of Rs. 100,000 (highest on the list) from the old price of Rs. 10,009,000.

Furthermore, the company has also raised the price of Hyundai Porter in Pakistan by Rs. 30,000, which has taken the Porter Deckless to Rs. 3,388,000, the Porter Flat-Deck to Rs. 3,408,000, and the Porter High-Deck to Rs. 3,428,000.
