TV anchor Mishal Bukhari has passed away
Mishal Bukhari was one of the most respected female reporters, news anchors, and hosts on Pakistan TV. When the popular channel Express TV launched, she was one of the first news anchors on the network.
As the senior anchor and host of the current affairs and social issues chat show Neo at 5 on the Neo TV channel, she is now doing a great job. Yes, Mishal Bukhari also provided live coverage of the 2016 US presidential election from Washington DC, New York, Virginia, and Kansas. The girl started her career as a magazine sub-editor of the Daily Express. She spent about 7 years working as part of the launch crew of Express news TV channels.
In 2014, she was also nominated and selected for IVLP, the most prestigious professional exchange program by the US Department of State. She also previously held the position of lecturer at Lahore Garrison College and worked as a live presenter with Pakistani radio station FM 101. On the other hand, many people do not know that her husband’s name is Ameer Abbas, who is a senior anchor person of a private TV channel.
A few moments ago, journalist Rai Shah Nawaz on the social networking site Twitter said that senior journalist Mishal Bukhari has passed away. Sources say that the cause of her death was cancer. She left everyone in tears at the age of just 38. She was associated with the field of journalism for about 15 years and earned a good reputation in her field.
