SBP Announces Bank Holiday on 12th Rabi-ul-Awal
The State Bank of Pakistan has announced a bank holiday on 9 October 2022 (12th Rabi-ul-Awal, 1444 A.H.) on the occasion of Eid Milad un Nabi.
“The State Bank of Pakistan will remain closed on Sunday, October 9, 2022 (i.e. 12th Rabi-ul-Awal, 1444 A.H.) on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa-Sallam).” said the notification issued by the SBP regarding the bank holiday.
However, it bears mentioning that the bank holiday happens to fall on a Sunday (9 October 2022) and won’t affect any business activities.

Meanwhile, the Government is yet to issue a notification a regarding a public holiday on 12th Rabi-ul-Awal (9 October 2022).
