Journalist Arshad Sharif is no longer in this world, but his memories will always be remembered in the hearts of people. Arshad Sharif was definitely a person who never spoke for his right, he only highlighted people’s problems and corruption in the country by bringing evidence. Arshad Sharif was born on February 22, 1973, in Karachi. He started his journalism career as a freelancer during his student life. And he completed his graduation from Quaid-e-Azam University in Business Administration. He wanted to see a country where people could live safely and speak for their rights. He dreamed of bringing a law where the rich and the poor stand in the same row and their justice is absolutely equal.
Not many people know that Arshad Sharif was the son of Commander Mohammad Sharif who died of a heart attack in 2011. And there is no doubt about it, Arshad’s mother is a brave woman. There is no further information about what her sister does. Arshad Sharif also had an elder brother whose name was Ashraf Sharif and he was also a major. But the unfortunate thing was that when he was coming to his father’s funeral in the year 2011, his car was also hit by bullets on the road in which he was martyred.
Arshad Sharif’s funeral prayer will be offered at Faisal Mosque on Thursday. Kenyan police claim that they fired at Arshad Sharif’s car based on wrong information, which led to the accident. But Kenyan journalists are also appearing on social media saying that this is not an accident, it is a planned killing.
