Now, we are looking forward to how the upcoming Pakistani films will perform. And most importantly, whether the grievances of the local filmmakers will be addressed or not.

Rehbra
One of the much anticipated movies include Ayesha Omer and Ahsan Khan‘s Rehbra. Its a story of two lovebirds who meet on the train to Karachi. However, they already have partners of their own with Bubbly (Ayesha Omar) soon to be married. According to director Amin Iqbal, the film will release on June 24.
Quaid-e-Azam Zindabad
It won’t be wrong to say that the movie starring Fahad Mustafa and Mahira Khan will, arguably, be the biggest release of the recent times. Its trailer was released over a week ago and its safe to say that lots of action is coming our way. The film will hit the theatres on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
London Nahi Jaunga
Punjab Nahi Jaungi proved to be a hit and its filmmakers decided to make a sequel to it. The movie includes Mehwish Hayat and Humayun Saeed in the lead cast. It has been shot in Turkey as well as in London.
Chaudhry
The film based on the life of martyred SSP Chaudhry Aslam will be hitting the cinemas on May 27. The cast of the film includes Shamoon Abbasi, Yasir Hussain, Sohail Sameer, Sana Fakhar, and Saleem Mairaj amongst others.
Zarrar
Shaan Shahid will be making his return with the long-awaited film. The veteran actor himself has written and directed the film. Other than Shaan, the cast includes Nadeem Baig, Adnan Butt, Nayyar Ejaz, and Kiran Malik.
Lafangay
This upcoming movie will be offering the viewers something we rarely see in Pakistan, a horror comedy. The cast includes Sami Khan, Mani, Saleem Mairaj, Mubeen Gabol, Behroze Sabzwari and Nazish Jahangir. It will be releasing on Eid al-Adha.
Shot Cut
This is another movie releasing on Eid-ul-Azha. Shot Cut stars, Gohar Rasheed, Juggan Kazim, Sana Fakhar, Naseem Vicky, Marhoom Ahmed Bilal, Honey Albela, Alia Khan, Anjum, Nawaz, and Balbir Singh
