SBP Announces Bank Holiday on 23 March 2022
The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced a bank holiday on 23 March 2022 (Wednesday) on the occasion of Pakistan Day.
In a notification issued by State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the bank holiday has been announced in accordance with the public holiday declared by the Government of Pakistan.
“The State Bank of Pakistan will remain closed on 23rd March, 2022 (Wednesday) being public holiday on the occasion of Pakistan Day as declared by the Government of Pakistan.” said the circular.
It is pertinent to mention that the Federal Government has announced a public holiday on the occasion of Pakistan, while a four day local holiday will be implemented in Islamabad and Rawalpindi on account of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Conference of Foreign Ministers (CFM) being held in the capital.
