Peugeot 2008 Officially Launched in Pakistan
Lucky Motors Corporation (LMC) has officially launched the Peugeot 2008 in Pakistan and the specifications of the subcompact crossover SUV have been revealed by the company. The Peugeot 2008 is also available for booking at the company’s dealership’s nationwide.
According to the details, the Peugeot 2008 has been launched in two variants, the Active and Allure, at two different price points. However, these variants are nearly identical in specifications and features except a few additions in the Peugeot 2008 Allure, which is the top-of-the-line variant.
Peugeot 2008 Price in Pakistan
The Price of the Peugeot 2008 Active in Pakistan is Rs. 5,250,000, while the Price of the Peugeot 2008 Allure in Pakistan is Rs. 5,850,000. The SUV will have tough competition in the market alongside KIA Sportage, which is priced lower and has already established its footing in the local automotive industry.
Engine and Transmission
The Peugeot 2008 (Active and Allure) will come equipped with a turbocharged 1.2L engine that produces 130 horsepower (HP) and 230 Newton meters (Nm) of torque, while mated with a 6-speed automatic transmission system. The SUV also features three drive modes, including Normal, Sports, and Eco.
Exterior
The Peugeot 2008 offers almost the same exterior features for both Active and Allure variants, including 17-inch Alloy Wheels, LED Daytime Running Lights, LED Rear Lights, High Mounted Brake Lights, Exterior Rearview Mirrors with Electric Folding and Turn Signals, and Chrome Black Door Handles.
However, the Peugeot 2008 Active has LED-Eco Headlights, while the Allure has Full-LED Headlights. The Front Grille is also different on both variants as the Active is equipped with a Glossy Black Grille, while the Allure has a Chrome Black Grille.
Interior
The Peugeot 2008 also comes with a beautiful interior, which is equipped with a large 7-inch Touchscreen, 6-Way Manually Adjustable Front Seats with Armrest, Wireless Trunk Door Key, Push Start, Electric Power Steering and Auto Climate Control in both variants. However, there are several other difference when it comes to the vehicle’s interior and comfort features for both variants.
Meanwhile, the Peugeot 2008 Active comes with Fabric Seats, while the Allure Variant has Leather Stitching. Furthermore, the Active has an Analogue Instrument Cluster, while the Allure comes equipped with a 10-inch Digital Cluster. The Allure also has 6 speakers compared to 4 found in the Active variant.
Moreover, the other added features of the Peugeot 2008 Active include the Ice-Blue Ambient Lighting, Cruise Control, Roof Rails, Rain Sensing Wipers and a Panoramic Sunroof.
