NUMS Issues Guidelines Regarding AMC Merit List for MBBS and BDS 2022 Admissions

The National University of Medical Sciences has issued the guidelines regarding the AMC merit list for MBBS and BDS 2022 admissions. The candidates are informed that the merit list is provisional and in the case of any error and omission, it is subject to revision and amendment if brought to the notice of the university authorities within the given time. The errors and omissions are accepted in the issued NUMS merit list 2021. In the case of any discrepancies, the candidates have to contact the NUMS within 48 hours of the issuance merit list. After the deadline, no complaint will be entertained by the NUMS.
Instructions For Students
The result awaiting and the delayed result candidates are highlighted in the provisional NUMS merit list. The result awaiting candidates will not be offered admission until they upload their marks obtained in the HSSC special exam and A level exam. In order to prepare Provisional Merit Lists of Medical & Dental Colleges, it will be supposed that the delayed result candidates have secured 100% marks in the exam. However, the admission of such candidates to the medical and dental colleges will be determined on the basis of their marks obtained in the HSSC Special Examination or A-Level (November 2021 Series) Examination.
Final Merit List
The National University of Medical Sciences will issue the final merit list on 10th February 2022 after the announcement of the result of the HSSC special exam 2021 and /A-Level Final Examination (November 2021 Exam. The result awaiting candidates have no right to claim the admission in case their names are mentioned in the first Provisional Merit List of Medical/Dental Colleges. After the submission of the result, the actual aggregate percentage will be calculated. If a candidate with a delayed result submits the result before 10th February 2022 and the merit is higher in comparison to the merit of the last student on the admitted list then the admission will be given to that candidate with higher merit. A student who has paid an admission fee will have their fee refunded in full. The admission of the candidates will be confirmed after the verification of the original identity, academic documents, and fee challan.
Additional Guidelines
The university has the right to cancel provisional admission in case the credentials of a student are found missing. The candidates will report to the admission office of the NUMS along with the original identity, academic documents, and Fee Challan to collect the Admission Offer Letter and fee challan. The selected candidates have to deposit the fee according to the schedule. In the case of failure to submit the fee according to the given schedule the admission of the candidate will be canceled and the next applicant on the waiting merit list will be offered admission so that the admission process can be completed on time.
