KP Government Announces Schedule For Winter Vacations

The Government of KP has announced the schedule for winter vacations. According to the statement issued by the Minister for Elementary and Secondary Education Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shahram Khan Tarakai, all the educational institutes across the province in the plain areas will observe the winter vacations from 3rd January 2022 to 12th January 2022. However, the educational institutes in the hilly areas will remain closed from 24th December 2021 to 28th February 2022.
NCOC Meeting
The meeting of the National Command and Operation Center was held on 17th December 2021 to take the final decision about the schedule of the winter vacations. As per the statement issued by the NCOC after the meeting the winter vacations will be commenced from 3rd January 2022 for all the colleges and universities of Pakistan however all the provincial governments have the right to notify the students accordingly. It is informed to the students that the decision regarding the winter vacations by KP province had been taken according to the recommendations of NCOC. The meeting was headed by the Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives and NCOC chief Asad Umar, The Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training, Shafqat Mahmood, and many other officials.
Winter Vacations
The Punjab Government has also announced the schedule for the winter vacations for the public and private schools of the province. The Punjab Education Minister, Murad Raas has said that the winter vacations in Punjab will be observed from 23rd December 2021 to 6th January 2022. Earlier the government of Sindh had also announced the winter vacations from 20th December 2021 to 1st January 2022 for all the public and private schools and colleges of the province. The government of Balochistan had also issued the schedule of winter vacations for the summer zones and winter zones of the province.
