Pakistan Marks 75th Independence Day With Celebrations Across The Country




Pakistan has marked its 75th independence day with celebrations across the country. During the whole day, the citizens remain engaged in the various events as the government has allowed the people to celebrate this occasion with great zest and fervor. The people were seen gathered in the streets carrying the national flag on wearing flag-themed costumes and face paint. The Government buildings and homes were decorated with green and white lights to express the love for the country. The day started with a 31-gun salute in Islamabad and a 21-gun salute in the capitals of all the provinces. Special prayers were also offered in the various mosques for the progress of the country. On this occasion, the cadets changed the guard at the mausoleum of the founding father, Mohammed Ali Jinnah and Allama Iqbal. Moreover, the revelers poured onto streets waving the national flag and setting off firecrackers.

Flag Hoisting Ceremony

The chief feature of the celebrations of the independence day of Pakistan was a national flag hoisting ceremony that was held at the President’s House in Islamabad. The ceremony was attended by President Dr. Arif Alvi along with the other government officials. In the same way, the flag hoisting ceremonies were held in other cities to mark this event. Besides the buildings, the streets and markets were also illuminated. The Prime minister of Pakistan said that everyone should play role in the development of the country. He further added that we want piece and for this purpose, the focus has been shifted from geopolitics to geo-economics.

Greetings Form Saudi Arabia

King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia have sent greetings to the president of Pakistan on Independence Day. As per the updates, the royals wished the president good health while hoping for prosperity for the people of Pakistan. Since the past decades, the two countries have always cherished close relations and collaborating on the various projects
