In response, Geeti said, “Okay, now watch my social media power. Today, I came to a small shop in a small neighborhood. This man started saying inappropriate things to me. Perhaps he doesn’t know what the punishment is for harassing a beautiful girl according to Pakistani law!”
Singer Meesha Shafi and Actor Adnan Malik took to their Instagram accounts to slam the show’s creators for trivializing a sensitive subject like harassment in a play starring some of the industry’s biggest names.
The current rise in crimes against women in Pakistan makes the scene’s content even more problematic.
Netizens have called out makers and actors of the show for touching upon such a sensitive subject carelessly.

Watched that particular clip on insta and decided not gonna watch this serial atleast for now. Earlier was thinking to give it a try just coz of Sarah khan but even sarah can’t make me tolerate such overacting by Ayeza as geeti. She was so good as meenu idk what happened then?
