PMC Amends Final Fee Payment Dates And Amount For Public And Private Medical Colleges
The Pakistan medical commission has amended the final fee payment dates and amounts for the public and private medical colleges. The decision has been taken after holding the discussion with the authorities of public/private medical and dental colleges. According to the medical and dental undergraduate education regulations 2021, it has been said that all private colleges shall amend their declared merit criteria and weightage by 16th July 2021. Previously the Pakistan medical commission had conducted the inspection of the medical colleges to get to know about their performance as well as the facilities provided to the students by the colleges. After the inspection, the list of the grades was issued for all the medical colleges.
Fee Of Medical Colleges
Moreover, all the medical colleges that have an A grade as per the list issued by the commission earlier must disclose their fee till 13th July 2021. The colleges having the B grade shall amend their fee in compliance to the regulations 2021 till 16th July 2021 ensuring that their fee must be less than the lowest fee being charged by the medical college having an A grade. All colleges having a C grade in their last inspection notified by the commission shall amend their fee till 20th July 2021 ensuring that their fee must be less than the lowest fee charged by the medical college having a B grade.
Admission To Public/Private Medical Colleges
Furthermore, it has been directed that all the medical colleges must display the fee online and also communicated it to the commission. The council has extended the final closing date of private medical colleges till 30th January 2022 while retaining the final date of public medical colleges till 10th January 2022. Furthermore, the council has also removed the fixed date for issuance of the merit lists of the private medical colleges enabling them to issue their merit lists according to their own schedule.
