Imaan Mazari Controversy

Imaan Mazari garnered major public attention after she posted a controversial video on Youtube. In the video, the activist criticized the Pakistan army and government and blamed them for being involved with terrorists.

Her mother, Shireen Mazari, swiftly and timely dissociated her views from her daughter’s and started:

These are my daughter’s opinions, and everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Imaan’s Dancing Scandal

Some pictures of Imaan Mazari were leaked on the internet in July 2017, in which she is seen partying with her friends in London, wearing an inappropriate dress. Those pictures outraged many Pakistanis, and they criticized the political activist.

However, Imaan broke her silence in a Facebook post and said:

I don’t care about people. Because of my criticism of the army and government, some haters uncovered my old photos and circulated them on social media. I will never stop, and I will continue to say whatever I want to say. People should mind their own business instead of poking their nose in other people’s lives.
