UET Postpones ECAT Entry Test 2021 Due to COVID-19

The University of Engineering and technology has postponed the entry test 2021. The decision has been taken due to the spread of COVID-19. Every year UET holds the entry test for the students who intend to take admission in the engineering programs offered by public universities. To get enrolled in the BS/BSc engineering, it is mandatory for the students to take the ECAT entrance exam. Earlier the university had announced the important dates regarding the test and the test was scheduled to be held from 24th May 2021 to 27th May 2021 but for the current academic year, the test could not be conducted as per the announced schedule and to commence the entry test the revised schedule will be announced soon for the candidates.

It has been informed to the students to get admission in the public sector engineering and engineering technology institutes it is mandatory to ace the test with maximum marks. The registration for the ECAT entry test will remain open until the announcement of the new dates for the conduction of the test. The candidates can get the Entry test tokens from the prescribed HBL branches until further notification is issued by the concerned authorities. The facility to get the ECAT token online will remain functional to facilitate the students.

The candidates are informed to submit the registration form to appear in the entry test as soon as possible to avoid any inconvenience due to filling in the centers of Virtual University. The candidates who have already registered are instructed to re-print the admit cards of the entry test after the announcement of new dates as the admit cards will be updated automatically.
