KP Education Minister Announces Matric And Intermediate Exam Dates

KP Minister for Elementary and Secondary Education Shahram Khan Tarakai made an announcement that matric exams (SSC exams) will start from May 21, 2021 and intermediate exams (HSSC exams) from June 17, 2021. O and A level exams will begin from May 10, 2021 as per schedule.

It will be ensured by Chairmen of all board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) of the province that SOPs regarding Coronavirus will be strictly followed at all examination centres in KP.  It includes all BISEs of Abbottabad, Mardan, Kohat, Malakand, Bannu, D.I.Khan and Peshawar. It has been decided to install CCTV cameras in examination centers, online data for administrative staff, forming control rooms and students’ facilitation centers. He further said that the health of students and teachers is highly important but we can not delay the exams any more so strict SOPs will be followed. It is to notified that schools will reopen from April 19,2021 for grades 9 to 12th across the province for regular studies.
