Proposed Suggestions

In the meeting it has been proposed by the health department that the annual exams of matric and intermediate should be held after Eid-ul-Fitr. The provincial education ministers agreed to hold the exams after Eid because of the rapid upsurge in the number of the coronavirus cases. Moreover the education ministers are also considering to shut down the schools, colleges and universities till Eid due to the third wave of the coronavirus pandemic. However the Punjab education minister, Murad Raas opposed the decision to close the educational institutes for long time period as the students have not completed their course work.

The federal education minister ensures that the decision will be taken after reviewing the ongoing situation of the pandemic.
