Decisions About Educational Institutions'''''''' Reopening in Sindh, KP and Balochistan
It has now been cleared that National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) decided to commence the classes of matriculation and intermediate from April 19,2021 while classes 1 to 8 in most affected areas due to Covid-19 will remain close till April 28, 2021. You can find below the decisions in Sindh, KP and Balochistan regarding reopening of educational institutions:
Sindh Educational Institutions:
Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani stated that academic activities will be started from April 22, 2021 in Sindh. All private and government schools from grade 1 to grade 8 have been closed due to Covid-19. He further said that the academic activities from Class 9 to 12 will be continued and they will have the examinations as per schedule. He also announced for A and O levels exams that they will be held also as per schedule. No changes will be made till further notice.
KP Educational Institutions:
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, educational institutions will gradually start from April 19, 2021 for classes 9-12 while academic activities for classes 1-8 will remain suspended till Eid.
Balochistan Educational Institutions:
Provincial Education Minister Yar Mohammad Rind of Balochistan announced that annual exams of matriculation and intermediate including FA and FSc will be held according to schedule. He has decided to keep all the educational institutions open as there are less number of corona cases to be observed in Balochistan.
