Punjab University Postpone BA and BSc Examinations 2021




Punjab University has postponed the annual BA and BSc examinations 2021 due to the spread of the coronavirus pandemic. The candidates who have been preparing for the exams are notified that the annual exams have been delayed for two months. Earlier Punjab University had announced that the exams will begin in April and the officials had issued the date sheet for the students. According to the exam schedule, the annual exams were to take place from 1st April 2021 to 15th April 2021. But now because of the upsurge in the number of coronavirus cases the examinations could not be conducted as per the issued schedule. 

Revised Exam Schedule

In this regard, the university has issued the statement and informed the students that the off-campus exams of an associate degree in arts/sciences Part-I and Part-II and the BA/BSc special category exams and hearing impaired exams will be now conducted according to the new schedule. The university officials have said that the revised exam schedule will be provided to the students within two weeks. The students are required to follow the new schedule and prepare for the exams accordingly. After the commencement of the theory exams, the university will issue the date sheet for the practical exams. 

Closure Of University

After the meeting of the national command and operation center, it had been announced that the educational institutes in the coronavirus hotspot areas will remain closed till 11th April 2021. The federal minister for education and professional training, Shafqat Mahmood had made this announcement. The Punjab University has also issued a notification about the closure of the university as the date has been extended for two more weeks due to the COVID-19. Moreover, it has been informed to the students that the online classes will be held according to the provided schedule and the students have to attend the lectures.
