Prominent religious scholar and Shaykh-ul-Hadeeth Mufti Taqi Usmani has said that Muslims should take precautionary measures in the last ten days of Ramadan and settle mosques with congregational prayers and also offer Eid prayers.

In a message posted on the social networking site Twitter, Mufti Taqi Usmani wrote that the global epidemic is getting longer with each passing day and in such a situation neither business life nor collective worship can be stopped.

Mufti Taqi Usmani appealed to the Muslims to spend the remaining blessed moments of the last decade of the blessed month of Ramadan, take precautionary measures, come and pray in the mosques and make special arrangements for worship and supplications.

He wrote that he was hopeful that the government, realizing its responsibility and the sentiments of Muslims, would not interfere in the performance of worship in mosques.

Mufti Taqi Usmani said that the government and the people should play their role for the betterment of the country and the nation, end of the global epidemic and end of chaos in the country, and offer special prayers for the achievement of these goals.
