Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik want their daughter to learn about her Islamic heritage
Gigi Hadid and her boyfriend gave birth to their adorable daughter, Khai on September 20 last year. Since then, the couple has shared details about their parenting styles with the world.
According to Gigi, she and Zayn want to teach their daughter about the various cultures and beliefs that shape her background.

Gigi was also asked about the religion that Khai would grow up to follow. To this, she responded that she would like her daughter to explore different religions.
In her interview with vogue, Gigi said, “I felt like I was allowed to learn about every religion when I was a kid. I think it’s good to take different pieces of different religions that you connect with, and I think that’s how we’ll do that,”
She also expressed her support for allowing a child to explore beliefs for themselves.
Gigi also talked about post-9/11 Islamophobia that she and her brother, Anwar Hadid faced growing up.
She said that she and Zayn want to provide full background about their beliefs to their daughter so that she is able to tackle similar situations.
Gigi Hadid has diverse religious ties as her father Mohamed Hadid is a Palestinian Muslim, while her mother Yolanda Hadid is a Christian.
On the other hand, Zayn Malik is a Pakistani-American Muslim.
