Israel-UAE agreement: Turkey considers ending diplomatic relations with UAE
Turkey is considering suspending diplomatic relations with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) over a peace deal with Israel.
Yesterday, a peace agreement was done between the United Arab Emirates and Israel to establish bilateral relations.
Islamic countries have strongly condemned the UAE’s relations with Israel, while Palestine has recalled its ambassador from Abu Dhabi in protest following the UAE-Israel peace deal.
Turkey is also considering suspending diplomatic relations with the United Arab Emirates over an agreement with Israel.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in a statement that he had asked his foreign minister for consultations on suspending diplomatic relations with the UAE or recalling his ambassador. “We are with the Palestinians,” he said.
It should be noted that under the agreement reached between the United Arab Emirates and Israel, Israel will no longer integrate the Palestinian territories, the two countries will work out a roadmap for bilateral relations.
According to the agreement, the United States and the United Arab Emirates will work together to establish relations with Israel and other Muslim countries as well.
