Dr Maha Ali killed herself after being tortured by his friend Junaid; police sources
In Defense, Dr. Maha Ali’s death was declared a suicide by the police based on the investigation.
Police sources said that Dr Maha Ali committed suicide after being harassed by her friend Junaid.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) South Shiraz Nazir District said that the police investigation into the death of Dr. Maha Ali has been completed.
He said that according to the investigation, when Dr. Maha came back from the duty of the private hospital, she was very depressed. Maha was lying in the room with her sister. Her father also came and lay down on the bed in the same room.
According to Shiraz Nazir, after that, Dr. Maha ali went to the bathroom under the pretext of closing the door, took a shower, sat against the wall in the bathroom and fired a 9mm pistol at the compartment.
According to the SSP, the bullet crossed the head and got stuck in the wall, all the evidence of which has been obtained by the police.
Shiraz nazir further said that on hearing the sound of the bullet, the father ran away and along with his daughter broke the door of the bathroom and saw that there was blood in the bathroom.
According to SSP Shiraz Nazir, the father then called helpline 15, also called the close relative Dr. Zahra. Dr. Maha Ali Shah was shifted to the hospital but died during treatment.
According to the SSP, Dr. Maha ali Shah was suffering from severe depression. She used to talk about killing herself. Why did Dr. Maha ali commit suicide? An investigation is underway against the characters involved.
According to SSP Shezar Nazir, two accused have been arrested for supplying pistols to Maha ali. The 9mm pistol was owned by Saad Siddiqui and the pistol was taken to Maha ali by a person named Tabish Qureshi.
It may be recalled that Junaid, a close friend of Dr Maha, had recently told the police that he had been in a relationship with her for the last four years and the two were going to get married soon.
Junaid said that he used to pick and drop Maha at a private hospital every day, but on the day she committed suicide, Maha forbade me to come home.
A friend of the female doctor said that Maha used to quarrel with her parents often. Maha used to live in depression due to domestic problems.
