Tik Tok CEO resigns citing political environment
Kevin Meyer, CEO of the world’s most popular lip-syncing app TikTok, has resigned.
According to the foreign news agency, Kevin Meyer has confirmed his departure from the popular social media platform.
In a letter issued to the employees by Tik Tok, it has been informed that the general manager of the company Vanessa Papaz will be the acting head of the company.
The US president had claimed that US citizens could be spied on by Tik Tok.
The US president had also ordered crackdown against the Chinese company, against which China has announced legal action.
