The water level in Tarbela Dam is 1550 feet and in Mangla Dam it is 1242 feet. The water inflow into the Chenab River at Head Marala is 255,400 cu-secs and the outflow is 250,400 cu-secs.
At Nowshera, the Kabul River has an inflow of 46,600 cu-secs and an outflow of 46,600 cu-secs.
According to the WAPDA spokesperson, the water storage in Tarbela Dam today is 5.98 million acre feet while in Mangla it is 7.356 million acre feet.
Tarbela has an inflow of 233,600 cu-secs and an outflow of 24,400 cu-secs.
Mangla has a water inflow of 149,400 cu-secs and an outflow of 10,000 cu-secs.
According to WAPDA spokesperson, the water inflow to the spring is 216,100 cu-secs and the outflow is 235,500 cu-secs.
According to WAPDA spokesperson, the water storage in the spring today is 89,000 acre feet. The total water storage in Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma reservoirs is 13.425 million acre feet.
Due to recent rains, water has been stored at full capacity in Tarbela and Mangla dams after many years. This will increase hydel power production and provide more water for agricultural needs than in previous years.
