Government decides to restructure Ruet-e- Hilal Committee
The federal government has decided to enact new legislation regarding the Ruet-e- Hilal Committee.
According to sources, the federal government has decided to dissolve the Ruet-e- Hilal Committee and reconstitute it.
Sources said that on the self-declaration of Ruet-e-Hilal, a sentence of 5 years imprisonment and a fine of Rs 50,000 to Rs 200,000 has been proposed.
According to sources, the Ministry of Religious Affairs has received the draft law of Ruet-e-Hilal Committee which has been forwarded to the committee.
The committee of the Ministry of Religious Affairs will soon inform the federal government of its suggestions on the draft.
