Army Flood Emergency Control Center set up in Karachi, ISPR
According to Pakistan Army Public Relations department , ISPR, an Army Flood Emergency Control Center has been set up in Karachi.
According to ISPR, medical campuses have been set up in Gulberg, Liaqatabad and New Karachi areas of Central District of Karachi.
According to ISPR it has issued telephone numbers of Karachi Flood Control Center. Victims can contact on 02134491082.
Victims can also be contacted on the helpline 02199247267 and the Army Flood Control Center on 02199207795.
According to the ISPR Flood water has been eliminated from 36 places in Karachi while food has been distributed to 10,000 victims.
According to ISPR, the Northern Bypass and M-9 have been closed to prevent flooding.
