7 killed in residential apartment wall collapse due to lightening in Karachi
A lightning strike near Gulistan-e-Johar Millennium Mall in Karachi caused the wall of a residential apartment to collapse, killing seven people, including women and children.
Police say lightning struck the outer wall of a residential apartment near Johar Moor.
According to police, the main boundary wall of the residential apartment collapsed due to a lightning strike, as a result of which 7 people were crushed under the rubble.
Police say more people are buried under the rubble of the wall, and police, cantonment boards and rescue agencies are working to remove the rubble.
Rains have killed 25 people in accidents in different parts of Karachi.
