The syllabus of Sadaqah-e-Fitr, Fidyah and Kaffarah of fasting has been announced in Pakistan. According to Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman, Chairman Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, the minimum amount of charity, fitra and fidyah has been fixed at Rs. 100 per person this year.
Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman said that the price of 2 kg of wheat for Fitra is Rs. 125. According to the chairman of Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, four kilograms of barley is Rs. 320, four kilograms of dates are Rs. 1600 and four kilograms of raisins are Rs 1920.
Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman says that in terms of wheat, this is the minimum amount of fitra, fidyah and kaffarah.One Can pay fitra accordingly. It may be recalled that last year the syllabus of Sadaqa-e-Fitr in Pakistan was fixed at Rs. 100.
