IHC declares the petition against temple ineffective
Islamabad High Court has declared the petitions against the construction of a temple in the federal capital ineffective and said that the court has no basis to intervene in the matter.
Justice Amir Farooq of the Islamabad High Court in his judgment on the petitions against the construction of the temple in the federal capital said that the government has not released funds for the construction of the temple while the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has not yet. Building plan not approved.
The court said that the construction could not take place without the rules and regulations of the CDA, while the federal government has referred the matter of expenditure on the construction of the temple to the Islamic Ideological Council, so the petitions are ineffective.
The court also rejected the objection of not allocating space for the temple in the master plan of Islamabad, saying that under the CDA layout plan, with the approval of the chairman and the CDA board, CDA allocates plots in sectors and sub-sectors and Construction there can only be done in accordance with CDA rules, there is no basis for the court to intervene in this matter.
It may be recalled that the foundation stone of the temple was laid recently in Sector H-9 of Islamabad, the land of which was allotted during the previous regime.
According to the CDA spokesperson, according to the master plan of Islamabad, the building cannot be constructed without the approval of the map.
