5 million children expected to be born in Pakistan in 9 months

According to the UNICE, 5 million babies are expected to be born in Pakistan in the first nine months of the corona virus outbreak.

A report by UNICEF has revealed that millions of women have become pregnant in the ongoing lockdown during the corona virus.

In the first nine months after the spread of the corona virus, South Asia alone is expected to give birth to more than 29 million babies, the report said.

According to the report, 20 million children are expected to be born in India, 5 million in Pakistan, 2.4 million in Bangladesh and 1 million in Afghanistan.

The report said the lockdown could affect the services of life-saving health facilities, endangering the lives of mothers and babies.

Based on the report, the International Children’s Fund has called on governments to take care of pregnant women and provide health care in Corona.

It is to be noted that lockdown is going on in Pakistan and India to stop the spread of Corona virus while the deadly virus is spreading rapidly in both the countries.

The deadly virus has so far killed 637 people and infected more than 28,000 in Pakistan. In India, the deadly virus has so far killed 2,000 people, while the number of infected patients is more than 60,000.
